YOUNG PEOPLE’S MINISTRY
MISSION STATEMENT
To provide an atmosphere of love (AGAPE), the type of love that will overwhelm young minds and cause them to love others the same; to help young people to be mindful of others that is not part of the body of Christ (COMMUNITY); to help them understand who they are in Christ, and the power they have to impact their peers (TEMPLE); finally to teach them the importance of servitude (SERVANTS) toward mankind. To accomplish this mission, the Young People’s Ministry will have group meetings, world prayer, leadership training and conduct services on college campuses.
– MINISTER CHRIS RIGGINS
Timothy 4:2 Let no man look down upon your YOUTH; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in manner of life, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.
We will cultivate the gifts and talents God has placed within each individual through The Word of God. We will teach them how to walk out their callings and about the Love of God through Word and deed. We will strive to reach and care for them individually and collectively. We will welcome and embrace their uniqueness and diversity with the Love of God, while guiding them in their own spiritual paths to adulthood.
– SISTER KIMBERLY NEASLEY
VISION STATEMENT
Change the culture of our youth one individual at a time. Develop disciples according to Matthew 28:19. To implement leadership infrastructure by creating programs, activities and other sessions that will flexibly adapt to the diverse needs of the youth and youth leaders alike. To ultimately impact the organization outward!
